The Awards of Outstanding Achievement recognize exceptional museum projects in different categories including:
Distinguished Service
This recognizes significant contributions by individuals to the Canadian museum sector throughout the course of their careers.
Excellence in Philanthropy
This award recognizes the outstanding and innovative contributions a donor has proposed or funded to one or more Canadian museums.
Barbara A. Tyler Award in Museum Leadership
This award recognizes excellence in museum leadership within the Canadian museum community.
Dr. Shirley L. Thomson Young Curators Award
This award provides internships for young graduates that enhance learning experiences for curatorial careers in the visual arts.
Museum Volunteer Award
Presented in partnership with the Canadian Federation of Friends of Museums.
ICOM Canada’s International Achievement Award
Presented in partnership with ICOM Canada.
