Young Canada Works for Youth

Looking for professional development opportunities in Canada’s museums and heritage sector? You may be eligible for a job or internship with the Young Canada Works (YCW) Program.

YCW has two programs that support museum-based employment:

Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations (YCW-HO)

  • work terms of 6-16 weeks
  • for youth aged 30 and under
  • for Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents or those with Refugee status
  • for current secondary and postsecondary students

Young Canada Works at Building Careers in Heritage (YCW-BCH)

  • internships of 4-12 months
  • for youth aged 30 and under
  • for Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents or those with Refugee status
  • for post-secondary graduates
