The Director, Brand Marketing at the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) is an incredible opportunity to have an impact!

Located in Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario is one of the largest art museums in North America, attracting almost 1 million visitors annually. The AGO draws on a collection of over 100,000 works – as well as collaborations with internationally renowned museums - to present wide-ranging exhibitions and programs designed to attract and engage a growing audience. Rooted in the guiding principles of art, audience and learning, the AGO is focused on deepening relationships with existing members and visitors, attracting new and diverse audiences, presenting a consistent brand across all elements of business, and flexibly responding to the changing environment. In 2019, the AGO launched an innovative and bold new initiative designed to make the museum even more welcoming and accessible for all with the introduction of free admission for anyone 25 years and under and a $35 annual pass. With an operating budget of over $60 million, over 600 employees, and 400 volunteers, the AGO continues to build a high-performance culture as an employer-of-choice, with strong staff and volunteer satisfaction and engagement aligned to the AGO’s compelling mission, vision and values.
