Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The incumbent of this position is primarily responsible to provide administrative support to the Manager, Financial
Systems. The incumbent tracks, prepares and submits attendance and revenue reports and liaises with all 3
museums to communicate, retrieve and reconcile data. The incumbent enters revenue in the financial system and
works closely with the Cashier to ensure proper data control. The incumbent assists in the preparation of
quarter and year end files and provides support to the entire finance division when needed.

The standard weekly hours are: SWW 37.50 Hrs (5 days consecutive Mon. - Fri.)

EDUCATION:
At least one year of post secondary education in the field of management or administration and/or an acceptable
combination of education, training and experience.

EXPERIENCE:
You have at least one (1) year experience in gathering and reporting on statistical data; and experience in
performing administrative tasks.

Knowledge :
- Administrative skills, general office procedures and programme administration;
- Knowledge of the mandate and the organization of the Canada Agriculture and Food, Canada Aviation and
Space and Canada Science and Technology Museums;
- Knowledge of excel is essential and knowledge of Access and Dynamics are an asset.

Abilities:
- Good planning skills and organizational abilities;
- Ability to analyse data in order to propose and present it in logical and comprehensive reports;
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision, to exercise judgement and meet deadlines;
- Ability to communicate in both official languages.
