Summary of Duties:
The Farm Interpreter provides demonstrations, roving interpretation and delivers guided tours based on predetermined scripts .
He/she provides information on the animals, crops, barns and exhibitions; helps with farm chores, including animal handling;
and performs other related duties.
The standard weekly hours are: variable for students
Education and Experience:
As an ideal candidate, you are a college or university student.
You have experience in providing tours as well as strong interpretive skills. Experience with handling farm animals will be
considered an asset.

STUDENT APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Each summer, Ingenium fills a variety of student positions. You must follow the instructions below carefully in order
to ensure the admissibility of your application.

Your cover letter will be used as the primary screening tool; it must showcase your strengths,
expertise and your interest in the position adequately, and it must include the following:
• The job title and reference number to which you are applying;
• The number of years of post-secondary study you will have completed by April 2019 and
the program of study in which you are enrolled;
• Applicants must be returning to full-time studies in the fall of 2019;
• Your fluency in the use of both official languages (English and French);
3. Submit an updated version of your résumé and cover letter;

5. The subject line of your email must contain the reference number and position title to which you
are applying;
6. Applicants must be returning to full-time studies in the fall of 2019.
