The Canadian Centre for the Great War, a Montréal based heritage collection and research centre, is soliciting a Curatorial Assistant for a 38-week paid position. Reporting to the Curator, the Curatorial Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the development and circulation of the Centre's 2020 travelling exhibition 'Confined: Reflections on Internment in Canada during the First World War', as well as developing in-house exhibitions, and an exhibition plan for 2020.
Working under the director supervision of the Curator, the incumbent will have recently finished an advanced degree in history, art history, or related discipline, with a demonstrated interest in public history or museum studies.
