Job Description:

The Marketing and Communications Manager seeks to hire individuals to assist with the following marketing initiatives for Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame from May-August 2019. The individuals will assist in planning and creating new marketing collateral for the Hall of Fame including posters that will be prominently featured around the Hall, brochures to be used at events and digital content for social media and the website.
Students will:
- Learn how to create marketing and media materials and collateral
- Create digital content for social media and website including posts, creative, blogs and graphics
- Create posters, brochures and other marketing materials for displays in the Hall as well as externally
- Attend regular meetings with the Manager of Marketing and Communications to ensure that the content and materials being developed meet the guidelines for the project.
Application Deadline: April 8, 2019
Interviews will be conducted by the Manager of Marketing and Communications during the week of April 23-27 and April 30-May 4. A maximum of six candidates will be interviewed.
Qualifications:
• Must be between 15 yrs – 30 yrs old.
• Must be attending school or graduated from a Marketing or Design Degree
• Knowledge of InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop is required
• Portfolio will be required in interview process
• Good interpersonal skills and computer knowledge using MS Office is required.
• Individuals will be required to provide or obtain a valid vulnerable sector police check.
