Use your skills to champion the Alberta Legislature as an events destination! We are searching for a solutions-oriented, creative, and strategic Event Logistics Coordinator with an innovative and collaborative approach to join our Visitor Services team. You have excellent communication and networking skills. Your ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on logistics, contracts, fees, et cetera, evaluate critical event components, and adapt and apply event trends will help to engage our audiences and support our goal to promote Alberta’s political process and history.
This position demands outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent judgment and superb decision making skills. Your ability to tap into your creativity and develop programs that support organizational goals while providing fun entertainment for our visitors is critical. In addition to this, you will have hands-on experience in coordinating all aspects of events, including interpreting technical riders and executing contracts.
To be successful in this role, you will have related postsecondary education along with strong logistics and project management experience, inclusive of coordinating teams, setting and monitoring budgets and meeting tight deadlines. Knowledge of Alberta’s performing arts sector is a definite asset.
Salary from $51,996 - $67,644, dependent on qualifications. A comprehensive benefit package is also available.
