JReporting directly to the Oral Historian, the Research Intern will perform a variety of tasks primarily in support of the oral history research program. The intern will work closely with research team members, as well as with other staff primarily in the Exhibitions, Research, and Collections Department. Tasks may include but are not limited to: researching, analyzing, and writing reports and short texts; reviewing, synthezing, and reporting on oral history interviews in the Museum collection; locating and researching assets like images and oral history interviews held in other repositories; organizing and categorizing oral history content into specialized software; and other tasks as assigned.
