The Montreal Holocaust Museum, through its exhibits, its commemorative programs and educational initiatives, educates people of all ages and backgrounds about the Holocaust, while sensitizing the public to the universal perils of antisemitism, racism, hate and indifference. It promotes respect for diversity and the sanctity of human life.
The Museum is looking to hire a student for a summer contract to conduct a comprehensive survey of the its public.
Job Description: - Develop and write an evaluation questionnaire - Data collection from museum visitors - Recording and coding data - Data analysis and producing of evaluation report
* Applicant must be bilingual, have a good knowledge of computer software and must be a returning student in the fall semester in museology, sociology, statistics or a related field. A good knowledge of survey methods is an asset. *
This is a 12 week contract (from mid-May to mid-August). The pay is $ 15.00 an hour. According to the requirements of the "Young Canada Works" program, to be considered, candidates must be Canadian citizens or have the right to work in Canada aged 16 to 30 years and be full-time students and intend to return to their studies in the next academic year.
